Interested in Being a Sponsor?

Since its inception in 2017, the conference sets itself apart by providing equal footing to headquarters-based professionals and industry partners, promoting inclusive dialogue and knowledge exchange.

Embracing a 2.5-day format, typically scheduled from the 3rd Sunday through Wednesday of September in varying city locations, this conference continually evolves as a pivotal space for learning, idea-sharing, and collective advancement within the fraternal housing industry.

Common Questions Answered

  • The conference begins with a reception on Sunday evening, usually around 5pm. Programming is during the day generally between 9am-4pm with dinner off-site at destination spots. Wednesday is the departure day with no programming.

  • There is a minimal registration cost for headquarters-based professionals and a sponsor rate for strategic partners. The registration fee does not include hotel or transportation costs. Conference registration does include most meals. See the upcoming conference page for registration costs.

  • Each conference has session topics that are hot items during the recent academic year which rotate while some sessions like legal matters and insurance are generally standard presentation sessions. See the recaps of previous conferences below to see past session topics.

  • Business cards. Business cards. Business cards. Networking is an amazing part of FHA. We will have a table available with everyone’s card offered out to attendees so be sure to bring yours. Notebooks/notepads are helpful for taking session notes. Lastly, of course, an open mind to learn and grow.

  • Plan to be fully present-mentally and physically. While we do schedule out brain breaks or office hours during the conference, it can be distracting if you are on your phone or computer during sessions. Please step out of sessions for phone calls or meetings if you are unable to reschedule any meetings while during the conference.

  • We are a more relaxed crowd! Business casual/snappy casual attire is okay. Yes, folks will be wearing jeans.

  • Commonly social events are a meal paired with activities. From events at BB King’s Blues Club to a riverwalk boat tour or a Buffalo Trace’s distillery tour, we try to continue the collaboration with those attending the conference during the evening. We try to find something unique in the local area. You will also find folks gathering around the hotel for evening spirits.

  • There is a registration cost for strategic partners which includes sponsorship support. There may be additional sponsorship opportunities. See our Sponsorship Opportunities page for a variety of sponsorship involvement.

Strategic Partner Common Questions Answered

  • Currently the cost for a strategic partner to be involved in FHA is being set for the next year. Previous years the cost for a partner to attend is around $1500-$2000, which included registration for 2 attendees.

  • Partners are welcome into the full conference with everyone else including attending sessions. While a session may not directly pertain to your company function, it still may be helpful to gain a larger understanding of issues affecting the facilities. Plus it is an easy networking opportunity as some sessions will have the opportunity to interact with your table.

  • FHA doesn’t do exhibitor booths or giveaways. You don’t want to bring them and we don’t want to take them. Relationships and talking is more important for us!

  • Business cards. Business cards. Business cards. We will have a table for all business cards to exchange with others.

  • The board is exploring other membership options for strategic partners outside of the annual conference. Stay tuned.

  • Potentially! The conference theme and session topics are strategically focused on what would help the core membership the most- the national house corp professionals and what current issues facing facilities today. The planning committee will identify topics and outreach to partners for specific session topics or send out a call for programs which you can apply for.

  • Though not a board position, the liaisons are the key folks strategic partners will outreach to for support for FHA. They are a partner themselves and will act as the key connection between the association and all strategic partners. They will help gather involvement, feedback and engagement from partners alike for conference sessions, lunch & learns, newsletter articles, etc. Check out who our liaisons are.

Elevate your role, expand your network, and stay at the forefront of fraternity and sorority housing.
